Outstanding Youth Volunteer Fundraisers award

On November 17th, 2021, ALSKids was honored to receive the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Fundraisers award as part of the National Philanthropy Day. This day is presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western PA Chapter and Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council.

Thank you to Dave Tinker for following our story, believing in what we do, and taking the time to nominate us for this award.

We also want to thank the staff of the ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania for their continued guidance and support of our events - ALS Kids would not be what it is without them.

And of course we would like to thank our family and friends for all their help and support through the years. While we wish our grandparents could be here to share this day with us, we know they are smiling down on us with love and pride. We promise to continue to fight in their memory and give them even more reasons to be proud. They never stopped fighting and neither will we.
